[ENGLISH]My Introduction: Kampli Sheshagiri Acharya Jois

Hare Krishna,

My Introduction:

I am Kampli Sheshagiri Achar Jois, I am 37 years old now. I, my parents, wife,  son (7 years ), daughter (3 years) live in Bangalore. Leaving the worldly profession, I am leading a Vedic life. I have chosen Madhukara profession . Guru's grace got this good fortune. .

A rare manushya Janma.  In that also the Madhwa Janma, where we are blessed with the grace of Tikaraya, Vadiraja, Sripadaraja, Vyasaraja, Raghottama, Raghavendra Swami.

So what is the significance of this birth?
What should I do?
What is my religion?
What can be done in this life that will add value?

Thus the desire to think carefully was increasing day by day

This is not today's thought, around the time I was studying in 7th standard, I was constantly bothered by questions . who am i ? Why do you need God? There are miracle men like Raghavendra Swami in all  religion, so how  is it fair to say that our religion is right? Why should I have Juttu (Shikhe)? Why not eat out? Why not watch the movie? Why to chant mantras.....Hundreds of questions were bothering me like this..

In a small town, the right answers could not be found anywhere. I was unable to frame the proper question for the problem I had . The immature mind kept pushing ahead without deciding anything properly.

Once  there was an opportunity to worship Ishtadev in Kampli   . Worshiped for about 1 week. Then the changes I got were different. By his touch as Dayasindhu , the infinite sins of my Shastradhyana were destroyed. Contacted Guru. Good study continued. .

I completed my education till my 10th standard in a town called Kampli near Bellary.  Kampli is such a wonderful Kshetra. All my childhood was  spent in this town. The banks of the Tungabhadra river, the small temple of Srinivasa, the house with 15-20 cows, the full family gathering together, the relatives thronging for all the festivals, the service of Tulsi, the service of the Brahmins - such a wonderful place made for a karmayoga.

At a distance of 10 km, Navabrindavan Gadde, the tapobhumi of the great sages, 10 km away in the other direction, Hampe, the tapobhumi of Lord Vyasaraja and the KaryaKshetra of the   Sri Ramachandra,  Rudradeva, the constant association of these areas had a great impact from a young age.

Then I came to Bangalore to study PUC (Science). I scored 94% in PCM in II PUC and then got admission in Engineering (BE in Electronics and Communication). Later I decided to do M.Tech to get the post of Lecturer to facilitate my studies. Also completed 2012 Distinction in M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded System Design . From 2012-2019, I worked as a Professor at Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore, a prestigious Engineering College.

I weighed both lowkika and Vedic equally. Got a job in Mysore. The Lord has been providing me with the good fruits of my previous birth from time to time. This time in Mysore, another great mercy was done. Where to live in Mysore? , what to do for dinner? I was worried. Karmavashat enrolled me in the Mahasannidhana of SriSatyaSankalpara Tirtharu, who was spreading Sattvikism for decades with silence, like Vashishtha's Ashram . Even today (2025) Nitya Ganga is around Sannidhana Swami's Vrindavan. The 1 year I was there was heaven, it was Vaikuntha, it was salvation...

Thus, the journey from Matha-College-Matha continued. A contact with an Avadhuta(A person with highest Sadhana but without showing easily to outer world)   changed me a lot. He was an example of Bhagwat Gita, whom I looked up to very fondly. He did not use his name or town to promote anything. So I am not writing about them in detail.

Every day and evening I used to sit in front of Vrindavan and narrate Sri Madhvacharya's Gitabhashya, Tikarayara's Prameyadeepika, Sri Sumathindratirtha - Sri Srinivasatirtha etc. I used to tell the importance of Swami to those who came to the Math.

In the college I  had a good reputation. For Embedded Projects, the laboratory I ran called Self Design Lab was converted into Bhagwat Gita lab. Fighting in the mind was going around "This is not my passion. This is not my profession. This is not my interest. This is not my sadhana patha. There are thousands of people to do embedded lab but there are few who get lowkika education and Vedic education and stir the society in the right way. So we have to live by teaching and preaching and "We should spend our time acquiring more knowledge from Gurus and skilled scholars," the urge was increasing day by day.

One two three ..and 7 years passed. The mind wandered too much. The Guru said something like "Don't put your feet in two boats". That word was echoed again and again. By the grace of all the Gurus - God's grace, one day I wrote a resignation letter in my room of the college and delivered it to the Principal through the HOD and ended my worldly journey.

Small children, household responsibilities, what next? how is life Where to travel? To answer all these questions, our Guru's saying "Go to sattivk  houses and ask for offerings(Madhukara Vrutthi), the world is not bad for you" was firmly fixed in my  mind. Accordingly, I came to Bangalore city for my son's education and life. Madhukari(Refer below Youtube link for details)  has started, this is a wonderful career, it is a lab where you can experience what you have studied practically. The profession of a holy Brahmin who tests the fortitude of the heart and imparts fortitude. Happening with Guru's grace.

By Guru's grace and mercy, I and all my family members are also believers in this one sweet career. My wife  is also giving a lot of encouragement in this regard, sharing the discussions of Lord's related lessons with the family and adopting the principles and giving encouragement.

Now we live in a rented house in Bangalore city Srinagar. I teach Sanskrit - Grammar - Vedanta lessons to children. I have chosen Madhukara profession for sustenance. I go to the houses of believers once in 2 months and give a 1/2-1 hour discourse and I am leading my life with the knowledge that I have come. There is no rule to give so much Dakshina.

Lesson-Discourse:

Srimadanandatirtha's Vishnu Tattvanirnaya and Gita Bhasya Granths had a profound influence on me. Nyayasudha Granthvantu is an UNPARALLLED book. If the aspiring youths do not read this Nyayasudha scripture they are missing a rare treasure. Thus I read for my pleasure.

I am confident that if the studies are done in the balance of Premeya and Pramana Granths, then there will be strength in the path of spirituality. Also Acharya has given both Pramana Granths and Premeya Granths in his books for our grace.

Knowledge of Vishnu's nature, existence of Vishnu as fundamental to Pramana Granths is necessary to instill faith in this background and nurture our beliefs.

It is not enough to have a solid foundation of faith, so we need a tree to grow on the foundation of that faith, its leaves and flowers. As a result of this the study of Premeya texts also becomes stronger. So I have created lessons in the form of a combination of these two worlds of the scale theorem  . Some lessons are conducted online, some . As much as possible out of emotional thoughts and towards knowing the truth, every patha is formed. More emphisis on practical and scientific approach  rather emotional and theroitical.

I am not Practicing the profession of Yajna, Priesthood(Pourohitya), etc., just giving lessons and following the profession of Madhukari for sustenance. Also we practice Swayam paka(Having food at our house Only)

Vasudeva Theertha  This is our little gurukula. Lord has blessed us with a privilege of imparting knowledge to children. Apart from that Vasudevatheertha Gurukula is also involved in giving knowledge to several Jnana pipasu through .Online. Below is a snapshot of the online lessons held at Vasudeva Theertha.

As Madhvacharya said, women-shudras also have power in knowledge, following his verse in Gita Bhashyaya "Stree Shudranancha Dharma Jnana Dwara Moksha: Bhavet"   I am telling some lessons in Harikathamritsara or Madhvasiddhantasara to benefit women and non-Brahmin class as well.

What is Madhukara's profession:

I go to one's house once every two months (once a month as desired by some) with the help of Madhukari Vrittis. I am making a living by conducting a discourse and discussion on Bhagavata, Bhagavad Gita or any desired scientific topic for an hour and accepting the daksha given by them.

So if you or any of your acquaintances are interested in conducting one of my programs, Gurukula Online lessons and week-long Bhagavatadi Sapthas at your homes, let them know.

Here in the nursing profession, it is not just a discourse, but a deliberative atmosphere. So aspirants will have an opportunity to discuss questions and answers according to that topic. From small children to women, boys and the elderly, everyone engages in friendly discussions, questioning their curiosity.

Classical background of Madhukara's profession
